A super fun book with a timely theme
We read this book at our church’s Bedtime Story program and it was a hit! The writing is superb, with a melodic rhythm that made it a joy to read aloud. We also tied it in with the need to observe good hygiene habits these days in order to fend off our own monster: COVID-19! What better way to convey this important message to the kids than with an exciting but cute monster story! Kudos to this talented author for a wonderfully penned, beautifully illustrated book that kept the kids spellbound with its imagination and creativity.

School nurse approved ✅
I have been reading books to a few classes that I oversee as a school nurse. Since all the kids are learning at a distance, we decided as a team it would be nice for them to see some familiar faces every once and a while. I try to pick health related books, but it’s hard to find them sometimes. This book is perfect. It’s short and sweet with beautiful illustrations and a cute message. I’ll be reading this to three kindergarten classes tomorrow!

“An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (elementary age) monster educational storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s monster educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.”

Look out for those monsters!
“The Night the Monsters Came by Junia Wonders is such a wonderful book to read to little ones. It has colourful pictures, fantastic illustration and a great story with the moral of good hygiene. I would definitely recommend, especially to parents of little boys who revel in their grubbiness!”
