At times, my mind wanders off to places far and wide, places that only exist in my mind’s eye: curious, strange, whimsical, and magical places. And in these fanciful journeys, stories take shape, tales get told, random thoughts get transcribed onto paper, and musings, ruminations, and reflections grow wings.
Here are my musings. And because I love any excuse to take pictures and play around with lighting, shadows, colors, textures, and objects, I often use my own photographs as canvases for my words. The ones I took are noted with a copyright symbol. The ones without it were taken by a family member who prefers to remain anonymous. A few are from free sources online.
